How do I connect to a LG TV?
- 1Connect your phone and LG TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
- 2On the TV, open Settings > All settings > Network and turn on LG Connect Apps.
- 3Open Remofy and choose your LG TV.
- 4Type the 8-digit code shown on the TV screen within about a minute.
- 5Control the touchpad pointer, volume, channels and apps, and type searches from your phone.

Why does my LG TV show a code?
webOS uses a one-time 8-digit code to approve a new remote. Type the code shown on the TV into Remofy within about a minute. If it disappears, tap Try again to get a new one. After that, Remofy reconnects without asking again.
Which LG TVs are supported?
LG Smart TVs running webOS (most LG Smart TVs from 2014 onwards) connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Can I type on my LG TV from my phone?
Yes. Open a search box on the TV first. Then tap the keyboard button on Remofy's Remote screen to open the Type on TV panel, and type. Some TV apps, like YouTube, use their own keyboard and can't receive typing from your phone.
