Remofy is a free Android TV and Google TV remote. It uses the official Android TV Remote v2 protocol over Wi-Fi, with a secure pairing code, a full D-pad and a phone keyboard for fast on-screen typing.

How do I connect to a Android TV TV?
- 1Connect your phone and Android TV / Google TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
- 2Open Remofy and select your device.
- 3Type the 6-character pairing code shown on the TV (it can include the letters A-F).
- 4Use the D-pad, number pad, keyboard and app shortcuts.

Does this work with Google TV and Nvidia Shield?
Yes. Remofy speaks the Android TV Remote v2 protocol, which covers Android TV, Google TV, the Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield and Sony, TCL, Philips and Xiaomi TVs that run Android TV or Google TV.
Why doesn't a pairing code appear on my TV?
On the TV, open the Play Store, search for "Android TV Remote Service" and update or enable it, then restart the TV and connect again. On TCL TVs, also turn on Screenless service in Settings.
Can I type on the TV with my phone?
Yes. Open a search box on the TV first. Then tap the keyboard button on Remofy's Remote screen to open the Type on TV panel, and type. It's far faster than picking letters with the D-pad.
